I had the opportunity to participate in Zach Lieberman's "Recreating the Past" course, hosted by the School for Poetic Computation. In this online workshop, we spent 10 weeks studying the innovative approaches and tools of the greatest computational artists from the 20th century. From Vera Molnár to Anni Albers to Camille Utterback, we explored themes including randomness, pattern, and body, ultimately using our developing creative coding skills to recreate/reinterpret their artworks.
Below, you will find a selection of my interpretations created over the course of this class.
